👣 Tips for Wide Feet and Bunions

If you have wide feet and/or bunions roller skating can cause quite some discomfort. Below are some tips for keeping those footsies happier!

Specific skates

Many skates have a narrow toe box, however the ones below are known to have a wider toe box:

Breaking the mold

You can also use a shoe stretcher or depending on the roller skate you may be able to heat mold them. For example, Bont Parkstars are made to be heat molded, check out the instructions on their website or watch the tutorial bellow:

Lacing patterns

Different ways of lacing up can help provide more space. The below video goes over laces and describes different lacing methods for a variety of feet types.
